Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. It is the Government's intent to issue a Firm Fixed Priced Purchase Order in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation number is FDA_SOL_1213837. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-02 dated May 06, 2019. The appropriate North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business Size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is solicited as a Full and Open competition. Statement of Work The FDA/CBER requires for a MALDI-TOF system for efficient identification and quantification of bacterial species in a complex sample. label free Protein Stability Detection instrument. The system will be used to assess the microbial composition of mice following various treatments and infections. It will also be used for the development/assessment of assays to be used for quantification of bacterial strains in complex Live Biotherapeutic Products containing multiple different, but related, bacterial species.
