Description
NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland, CO 80539-3003, ATTN: Eileen Ray. Physical Address for hand carried quotes/proposals/bids: Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland CO, 80538. The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The principal components of work includes; Providing excavation for and installation of two, (2) steel reinforced concrete structures in Spence 230KV Substation in Natrona County, Wyoming. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor to excavate required material in substation to install a 20 X 6 -6 X 3 cable trench that will adjoin an existing cable trench in the facility yard and excavate required material in substation to install an 8 X 8 X 2 pad for the mount of a Station Service Potential Transformer. All work shall be completed 30 calendar days after the date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is between $25,000.00 - $100,000.00. FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 238110; Size Standard is $15M. The solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued electronically at this site on or about 03 July 2019 at the following sites: https://www.fbo.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net. NOTE: the Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed. Bidders must identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in United States) included in their bid. Please check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic material.
