Description

The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract to perform the following miscellaneous construction activities to building 269 at Ft Douglas, UT: replace water lines, sewer lines, demolish all baseboard fin tube heaters and cap piping, remove and replace bathroom linoleum flooring with new tile and replace storm drain pipes. In accordance with the FAR 36.204(f), the magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This proposed contract action will be conducted using FSC Code: Y1JZ and North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS): 236220 Construction (including new work) of commercial and institutional buildings and related structures. The IFB is estimated to be issued in early JULY 2019 with proposals due in early August 2019. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) and will establish a firm bid due date/time. The site visit/pre-proposal conference date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (19-JUN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
