Page 1 of 1 This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the VA. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified businesses, including Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), small disadvantaged businesses (SDB), Women-owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8(a) Small Business and small business concerns that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. The NAICS code is 238220 and the corresponding size standard is $15.0 Million. Your responses to the sources sought will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care has a requirement to hire a mechanical firm to connect medical gas to Nurse headwalls in their Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Any interested parties must possess the necessary certifications for the medical gas connection. Interested firms fitting one or more of these Socio-economic categories should send their information by E-mail to charee.harris@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, June 25, 2019. The following information is requested in response to this notice: (1) Type of socio-economic category (e.g. SDVOSB, Small Business, etc.), if firm is a VOSB, evidence of verification in VetBiz as a VOSB (VOSB firms must be verified by the Center for Veteran Enterprises (CVE); (2) A positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal in response to a solicitation for this project; (3) Evidence of your firm s experience in and/or certification for medical gas work. If adequate interest is not received, this action will not be set aside for SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a) small business or small business firms.
