- IGF::OT::IGF, X:NOGRN, Service, INVASIVE PLANT MANAGEMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-87 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant contract will be awarded using negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR 15. This is a total small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19-502-2. The principle NAICS is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services and size standard is $15M. The National Park Service, East Major Acquisition Buying Office has a requirement for treatment of invasive vegetation at eight National Park Service (NPS) units within the Gulf Coast states of Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi including: Big Thicket National Preserve (BITH), Gulf Island National Seashore (GUIS), Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve (JELA), Natchez Trace Parkway (NATR), Padre Island National Seashore (PAIS), Palo Alto National Battlefield Historical Park (PAAL), San Antonio Missions National Historical Park (SAAN), Vicksburg National Military Park (VICK). These parks may be divided into two working regions for the purpose of awarding two separate contracts. The solicitation number assigned to this requirement is 140P5119R0020. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This requirement will have a base with two option periods of one year. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to the offeror that provides the best value without discussions in accordance with FAR 15. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). SAM.gov offers free services. An offeror must ensure that they are self-certified under NAICS Code 541620 in the Representations and Certifications portion of SAM.gov.
