- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Southeast Region intends to issue a Request for Quote for providing and installing new chain link fencing and will include removal of the existing chain link fencing which runs the perimeter of the East Everglades Operation Center, Everglades National Park, in Miami, Florida 34139. A detailed Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation documents. This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 238990 (All other Specialty Trade Contractors) and the size standard is $15 million. CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000 TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and price proposal. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on or about 7/5/19 (date is subject to change) and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and the FedConnect website https://www.fedconnect.net/ Fedbizopps will be the only means of obtaining the amendments and you will be able to receive electronic notification of solicitations and awards. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments. It is the responsibility of interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any amendments and respond to them by the date and time set for receipt of proposal/quotes or amendments may render the offeror nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the offer. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusion such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. All prospective contractors are required to submit or upload their organization representation and certifications at www.SAM.gov prior to submitting their offer. Failure to do so will render an offer nonresponsive. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Officer, however, you can add your name to the "Interested vendors" in the solicitation and the system will notify you of any update POINT OF CONTACT: Lara_Wood@nps.gov.
