This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 517919. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. See the statement of work excerpt below; The Omaha VA Medical Center located at 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105 requires the following service; Provide internet and partial TV cable services and install infrastructure to support wireless internet to patients and family members of patients at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Nebraska and Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS). The VA NWIHCS is seeking a solution to provide our patients and their families access to the wireless internet (Wi-Fi) while they are using our Nebraska facilities in Omaha, Grand Island, Lincoln, Bellevue, Holdrege, Norfolk, North Platte, Shenandoah, Iowa, and our Vet Center in Lincoln Nebraska. The VA NWIHCS is additionally seeking a solution to provide our patients and their families access to television cable in Holdrege, North Platte and Shenandoah. Anticipated Period of Performance: Base Year: 09/30/2019 to 09/29/2020 Option Year I: 09/30/2020 to 09/29/2021 Option Year II: 09/30/2021 to 09/29/2022 Option Year III: 09/30/2022 to 09/29/2023 Option Year IV: 09/30/2023 to 09/29/2024 After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted to Federal Business Opportunity website (www.FBO.gov). A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to the forthcoming solicitation. Limitations on Sub-contracting applies to the requested services.
