Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Boston Healthcare System, has a requirement for a Bio-Techne Wes System for a capillary-based nano-immunoassay size-based separation platform. It is the Government s understanding that this equipment is proprietary to Bio-Techne and sold thorough ProteinSimple. Laboratory staff have conducted market research and determined that this equipment, due to the fully automated features, capability to run multiple samples (25) at a time in a timely fashion, which will decrease the total wait time, and increased reproducibility of results, best meets the Government s needs. It is the Government s intention to solicit and negotiate only with this source.  The anticipated value of this requirement is approximately $40,000 and includes training on the proper use of the equipment. This is not a solicitation; it is notice of intent to sole source a requirement. This is not a solicitation; it is an announcement for the purposes of conducting additional market research. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) with the capability of providing this proprietary product are invited to respond.
