Page 1 of 1 Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C252-19-B-0045 Project: Legionella Suppression Construction Bldg. 228 Project Number: 578-17-005 Location: Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, Hines, Illinois The Hines VA Hospital has a requirement for legionella suppression construction in Bldg. 228 on the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital Campus in Hines, Illinois. The project magnitude price range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) with a size standard $15.0 million applies. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of one thousand and twenty (1020) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about April 2, 2019. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for May 8, 2019. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through shall be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB or VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small Business Concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB/VOSB listed as verified in VIP database at: https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. All interested parties shall have a current registration and current annual On-line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the System Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov prior to award. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (26-MAR-2019).
