Description

1.0: Introduction The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Executive Officer, Air, Anti-Submarine Warfare and Special Weapons (PEO-A), Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office (PMA-271) intends to award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) for the installations of the Multi-Role Tactical Communication Data Link (MR-TCDL) system into two (2) E-6B aircraft following the Verification installation. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 08July2019. This action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to NGSC under the authority permitting other than full and open competition, Title 10, U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-JUN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
