Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: 55 CONS/PKT, Offutt AFB, NE intends to award a one year, six month sole source extension to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 for the Missile Applications Software Support (MASS II) contract, FA4600-12-D-0001. MASS II provides ballistic missile planning software that allocates and then assigns Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) and Sea-Launched Ballistic Missiles (SLBMs) to predetermined targets in support of United States Strategic Command's (USSTRATCOM) Global Strike. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applications presently maintained under this contract include the Dynamic Application and Rapid Targeting System (DARTS) and Missile Applications Reusable Services (MARS) within the Integrated Strategic Planning and Analysis Network (ISPAN). The contractor shall provide maintenance and enhancement of current capabilities, the development of selected new capabilities, and the integration of DARTS or MARS into the ISPAN environment.
