Description
Naval Supply Systems Command San Diego hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to MIC Industries to provide Ultimate Building Machine and Automatic Building Machine operations and maintenance training according to attached Statement of Work (SOW). Brief Description of Requirement: The ultimate building machine (USM) is essential to support Naval Construction Force (NCF) vertical construction operations. Vertical construction is a mission-essential task of the naval mobile construction battalions (NMCBs) and construction battalion maintenance units (CBMUs). The NMCBs and CBMUs construct, improve, and maintain encampments, combat service support areas, and other forward logistics sites and required support facilities. This task includes site preparation of facility inspection, construction, and erecting or assembling pre-engineered structures or advanced base functional component (ABFC) facilities. Battalions and units conduct these tasks as part of their normal organization and operations. Period of Performance: 08 July 2019 to 26 July 2019 Place of Performance: Contractor ™s Site with UBM/ ABM The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611519 “ Other Technical and Trade Schools. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM). Those capable of meeting the requirement IAW the SOW are requested to provide the following information in their response: 1) Current capability that demonstrates your companys ability to meet the above requirement, 2) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice. 2) Respondents may respond via e-mail no later than 28 June 19, 09:00 am, Pacific Standard Time(PST) to nelson.arias@navy.mil. If no responsible, responsive offers are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be issued to MIC Industries under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
