Description
The purpose of this sources sought modification is to correct the Classification Code. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Business sources are currently being sought for services in support of the Naval Munitions Requirements Process (NMRP) mission. The Department of the Navy (DoN) quantifies ordnance requirements as required by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). The Department of Defense Munitions Requirements Process (DoD Instruction 3000.04; DoD MRP) establishes DoD policy, responsibilities, and procedures for developing and disseminating DoD MRP products. The purpose of the DoD policy is to establish a Total Munitions Requirement (TMR) pursuant to current Secretary of Defense policy and guidance memorandums and to ensure that munitions requirements developed as a result of the DoD MRP are visible, accessible, and understandable to the rest of the Department (except where limited by law, policy, or security classification). This policy applies to the military services, DoD components, and through the heads of those DoD components, their subordinate field organizations involved in munitions requirements development, subsequent procurement, and inventory management. An overview of the scope and mandatory requirements is attached. The anticipated award will be cost plus fixed fee with a base year and four (4) one-year options. The services are currently being provided under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. Businesses responding to this Sources Sought shall submit the following information no later than 10 July 2019 to Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office, through Erin Kilrain, Code 270.2A (erin.kilrain@navy.mil) or Sean McGinley (sean.mcginley1@navy.mil): Company name, address, POC, telephone number, e-mail address, DUNS number, CAGE code, business size and a summary of the following: -company background; -companys capability to perform each of the four areas outlined in the attached document in providing Naval Munitions Requirements Process (NMRP) support; -the companys qualifications regarding the security clearances and secure communications statement.
