Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors for an Annual Service Contract on the Air Compressors serving the needs of the Malcom Randall Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1601 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608. The proposed NAICS 811310 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $7.5 Million. General: This service contract is an annual preventative maintenance contract on the Air Compressors to maintain proper air supply to the facility. The Contractor must have Trane Factory Certified Mechanics on staff. The maintenance shall be conducted as follows to all Air Compressors: Annual Service Inspect Pressure Switch Diaphragm and Contacts Inspect Contact Points in the Motor/Starter Test operate the pressure relief valves Visual inspection of all mechanical components Visual inspection of all electrical components Written report of all findings and recommendations to the COR Semi-Annual Service Change Lubricant and filter Check torque on cylinder to head cap screws Check Control Line Filter and repair if needed Visual inspection of all mechanical components Visual inspection of all electrical components Written report of all findings and recommendations to the COR Quarterly Service Monitor all gauges and indicators for normal operation Check the fluid level Drain water from air/fluid reservoir Observe for fluid leaks Observe for unusual noise or vibration Clean the cooling surfaces of the intercooler, aftercooler and compressor Check the Compressor for air leaks Clean or replace air intake filter Check Belt Tension and inspect the belt Torque Pulley Clamp Screws or Jam nut Written report of all findings and recommendations to the COR All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to daniel.dove@va.gov.
