- Description
- This is a request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify companies that may have the resources and capabilities to provide market research survey & analysis services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Primary Care. Description of Work: The contractor will conduct an 18 to 24-month study and provide in-depth research analysis using quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand the needs of the VHA patients with chronic pain, substance abuse disorders, and mental health comorbidities. VHA s Office of Primary Care is seeking a Pain Management Care Model using an integrated team approach with broad model parameters such as home care, site care, technology, and telecare. The report and model will be shared and implemented across the VHA. Technical Requirements: Ideally, the company has the capability and experience to perform research analysis for VHA or other Federal Government healthcare entities; having an understanding of VHA s primary care processes and experience reporting findings to VHA leadership would also be beneficial. NCO 5 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience conducting market research & survey services for VHA and other healthcare entities. 3. GSA contract number, if applicable. 4. Ballpark cost estimate of what VHA could expect to pay your company to perform the work described above. Responses must be submitted by 11:00 AM (EST) July 12, 2019. Responses to the information requested above must be submitted via email to james.whisner@va.gov. This request for information/sources sought notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
