- INTRODUCTION The Naval Air Warfare Center- Aircraft Division Atlantic Test Range (5.2.4) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure, on a sole-source basis, a firm fixed price contract with NSI-MI for X-Band Antenna Measurements. Please see attached Statement of Work. Under the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. This announcement is a Request for Quote (RFQ). ELIGIBILITY This requirement is being synopsized as an unrestricted acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334515, Size Standard of 750 employees, PSC code AC61. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. Specifically, the Government is evaluating the possibility of establishing this requirement as a Small Business/Other Socio-economic Set-Aside. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 24 June 2019 - 01 September 2019. ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE This is a firm-fixed price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and acceptability. REQUIREMENTS Please see attached Solicitation for specifications. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation. Therefore, it is incumbent on the offeror to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the proposal. The Government will award on a lowest priced - technically acceptable basis. Your quote will only be evaluated on the information you provide with your quote. This is firm-fixed price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint.
