- MARKET SURVEY/CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR -- FOR VARIOUS AVIONICS TRAINING NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING VIA EMAIL TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing general familiarization avionics training for the following aircraft: Course: 1 Cessna CE-680A Avionics Familiarization 2 Challenger 605/650 Avionics Familiarization 3 Global 5000/6000 Avionics 4 Challenger 300 Avionics The FAA is seeking sources capable of providing general familiarization Avionics Training on the four (4) aircraft listed above. The course shall provide FAA Aviation Safety Inspectors general familiarization of avionics in accordance with the Air Transport Association (ATA) 104 Specifications. A draft requirements statement has been attached to this RFI. The FAA asks that industry review and provide feedback. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes, capable of providing avionics training for the aircraft identified above and as outlined within the draft PWS. In order to assist with acquisition strategy development and to gain a better understanding of the commercial marketplace, the FAA requests the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: a. Type / Level of Avionics Training provided by your firm; b. Which aircraft your firm can provide training for; c. Size and type / level of training provided on previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance) d. Expected approach - respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work. e. Syllabus of training 2. Questions or comments regarding the draft Performance Work Statement. 3. Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate for budgetary purposes only. All responses to this market survey must be received by 5:00pm CST, July 26, 2019. The FAA will only accept submissions; including attachments, electronically emailed to: Michele.d.mustin@faa.gov. Please include the "MARKET SURVEY RESPONSE: 34034 in the subject line of your email. Information provided will not be released but please mark PROPRIETARY on all documents submitted. All questions regarding the market survey will be used in the final development of the governments ™ acquisition strategy. Respondents are encouraged to review the attached documents and provide comments.
