Description
This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for C-17 Support Equipment_Test Station, Fuel Control System, NSN: 4920-01-433-5025; Part Number 17G460208-1. The Basic is for Qty of 3 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty range of 1-2 each. The Test Station, Fuel Control System to perform a negative or positive pressure test on the aircraft fuel tanks. The tanks are built into the wing sections of the aircraft, forming the boundaries of the fuel tanks. In integral tanks, a deal plane or barrier is established during initial assembly of the tanks. The seal plane consists of a liquid-tight boundary composed of aircraft structure, fasteners and sealing system. If the seal plane is broken, a leak path is established which allows fuel to leak from the tanks. If the positive pressure test procedure is unsuccessful, then negative pressure and dye penetrate procedure may be used to isolate the source of the fuel leak. A tester is required at the organizational and depot levels of maintenance to perform a negative or positive pressure test on the aircraft fuel tanks. The tester shall contain all the basic equipment to perform the pressure tests on the aircraft and provide storage for the support equipment necessary to perform the various leak checks on the fuel tanks. This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency.
