Description
The Alpena CRTC Fire Department is requesting one new diesel generator and automatic transfer switch with installation, testing & delivery to replace their existing natural gas generator and automatic transfer switch. The requested installation labor required for the diesel generator are as follows: - Existing generator and automatic transfer switch need to be uninstalled and removed. - Delivery and installation services of the new generator and automatic transfer switch. - New generator and automatic transfer switch tested under facility load by removing commercial power to the corresponding side of the automatic transfer switch by utilizing a switch or circuit breaker. - Generator should automatically start, accept building load, return building load to commercial power once restored and shut down automatically without intervention of a person. - Brief onsite familiarization training from installation personnel with new associated equipment. The specific requirements for the new generator are captured within the content of this paragraph and itemized below. We require installation of a concrete pad mount 80 kilowatt, 3 phase, 60 hertz, diesel generator that is capable of producing 120/208 Volts of Alternating Current. The generator must have a quiet enclosurecapable of withstanding a northern tier winter outside environment and operating under such conditions. The diesel fuel tank must be double walled and with a 24 hour capacity tank based on the full load fuel consumption rate of the engine. The generator must have the ability to be paired with an Automatic Transfer Switch. Minimum salient characteristics for the generator are as follows: -U.S. EPA Stationary Emergency Application C80 D6C -Genset-Diesel, 60Hz, 80kW -Standby Rating -Duty Rating-Standby Power Listing-UL 2200 -NFPA 110 Type 10 Level 1 Capable -IBC Seismic Certification -Emissions Certification, EPA, Tier 3, NSPS CI Stationary Emergency -Enclosure-Aluminum,Sound Attenuated Quietest,Level 2, with Exhaust System -Voltage-120/208,3 Phase,Wye,4 Wire -Alternator-60Hz,12L,208/120V -Generator Set Controls -Exciter/Regulator-Pmg, 3 Phase Sensor -Engine Governor-Electronic, Isochronous -Gauge-Oil Pressure -AmpSentryTM Protective Relay -Stop Switch-Emergency -Breaker,125A-400A,3P,LSI,600VAC,80%,UL -Enclosure - Wind Load 180MPH, ASCE7-10 -Fuel Tank-MI DEQ Regional, 2 Wall, Sub Base, 24Hr Minimum -Alarm Panel-High Fuel -Mechanical Fuel Gauge -Switch-Low, 40% Fuel -Switch-High, 90% Fuel-Separator-Fuel/Water -Valve-Fuel Tank, Over Fill Protection, 95% -Riser-FuelTank, 2 inch -Switch-Fuel Tank, Rupture Basin, Installed -Engine Starter -12VDC Motor -Battery Charging Alternator-Normal Output -Battery Charger - 6 Amp,Regulated -Engine Cooling-High Ambient Air Temperature -Shutdown-Low Coolant Level -Extension-Engine Coolant Drain -Engine Coolant-50% Antifreeze, 50% Water Mixture -Coolant Heater, Extreme Cold Ambient -Engine Air Cleaner-Normal Duty-Engine Oil Heater-120 Vac, Single Phase -Generator Warranty (min 1 year) -Rack,Larger Battery -Extension-Oil Drain -Oil and Antifreeze - Installed -Delivery ofEquipment to Jobsite -Manual - Operator/Maintenance and Parts -12VDC Engine Starting Battery - 700CCA -Safety shutdowns and pre-alarm senders The specific requirements for the automatic transfer switch are outlined in this paragraph and itemized below. The automatic transfer switch requires installation. Theautomatic transfer switch must be equipped with an internal or external integral maintenance bypass isolation capability. A switch must be able to be utilized toopen and close the commercial circuit supplying power to the automatic transfer switch. The automatic switch gear must have a switchable neutral. The automatic switch gear casing must be rated to be installed in an outside Northern Michigan year round environment. Minimum salient characteristics for the transfer switch are as follows: -Transfer Switch-Electronic Control,600 Amp -Poles-4 Fully rated switched N pole -Listing-UL 1008/CSA Certification -Frequency-60 Hertz -System-3 Phase,3 Wire Or 4 Wire -Voltage-208 Volts Alternating Current -Cabinet-Type 3R rated for outside environment and all weather -Auxiliary Relay-Switch In Emergency Position -12VDC -Auxiliary Relay-Switch In Normal Position -12VDC-Genset Starting Battery-12VDC -Cover-Switch Control, Security -Relay-Elevator Signal -Transfer Switch Warranty (min 1 year) -Manual - Operator/Maintenance NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (02-JUL-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
