- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #652-19-101 Roof Repair Building 500 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials and supervision necessary to remove existing roofing materials and install new tapered insulation and Modified Bitumen System over existing concrete roof decks for Project 652-19-101. General Scope: The Contractor will provide all transportation, material, hardware, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to remove existing roofing materials and install new tapered insulation and Modified Bitumen System over existing concrete roof decks. Additionally, a new ballasted railing system will be installed, as well as any required related work necessary to design and install a warrantied roofing system. Related work will include at a minimum: new drains, new flashings, new expansion joints, and may include blocking replacement or other repair work as necessary, for Building 500. Please see attached Draft Scope of Work for more details. Estimated construction magnitude is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS CODE: 238160 Size Standard: $15.0 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service Disabled Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about July 17, 2019. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation.
