Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS), Office of Response & Restoration (OR&R) has a requirement to provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material necessary to perform electrical system repair and maintenance to the building electrical systems at NOAA's Gulf of Mexico Disaster Response Center located at 7344 N Ziegler Blvd., Mobile, AL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210. The small business size standard is $15 million. The solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis in which all businesses regardless of size can submit a quote. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Government. Electrical system repair and maintenance services include monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual preventative maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer. Services include schedule repairs and emergency repairs in response to notification by the Government of failed equipment/systems. On-site response time for emergencies is not more than 4 hours from notification by the Government. On-site work shall be conducted during normal business hours between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday excluding Federal holidays. The contractor shall be capable of performing maintenance and repairs for the following equipment: Cummins QSX14 Series Engine, Cummins T-011 Transfer Switch, Avtron Load Bank Model K675A, UPS Powerware 9390, Eaton Dry-Type Distribution Transformer and Cutler-Hammer Panelboards. Period of performance will be twelve months beginning on September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020 with four twelve-month options. A site visit is highly encouraged and information on scheduling a site visit will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation and subsequent purchase order will be issued utilizing the procedures in FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. To be eligible for award, quoters must be registered and have an active record as of the date of the quote is submitted in the System For Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/SAM//. The solicitation will be issued on/or before July 3, 2019 and quotes will be due on/or about July 24, 2019. Award will be made on/or about August 19, 2019.
