Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this SS is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for a one-time firm fixed-priced purchase order to purchase an Ultrasound System. The PACU clinic located at Cincinnati VAMC need to procure Ultrasound System for peripheral IV (PIV) placement, often mitigating the need for critically ill patients, and patient for whom a peripheral IC is not possible for vascular access. ----- Ultrasound System is a high-resolution, all-digital, 12.6 pound (5.70 kg) ultrasound system with a 12.1in. LED full-bleed glass display. The system is portable, and can be used across multiple hospital environments, including a zero footprint option for space-constrained rooms. The features have to have a new touchscreen user interface with a clinician-driven menu logic that adaptively adjusts to the use case (what you need, is what you see). An embedded dual transducer connector also allows quick switching between transducers with two simple taps of the screen, ensuring that the right transducer is always readily available. Direct Clear technology, a novel, patent-pending process that elevates transducer performance by increasing penetration and contrast resolution, is available on select transducers. The purchase of the Ultrasound system includes the following software technologies: - 2D grayscale with SonoMB Multi Beam Technology - Auto Gain with SonoADAPT Tissue Optimization technology - M-Mode -Color Doppler - Application specific calculation packages The system uses a Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) Flat Display Mounting Interface (FDMI) MIS-D 75 (75mm x 75mm) and MIS-D 100 (100mm x 100mm.), allowing direct mounting to many commercially available options. The reliability and durability of the Ultrasound system should be backed by a five-year standard warranty, should be included in the price of the system. Software upgrades to the main system and transducer databases are both accomplished through one of the three USB ports on the system. Training should be provided for installation as part of the purchase. The installation includes an overview of the product and accessories purchased, training on the features, functions, and user interface, and system care/ maintenance. Available for US locations only. Additional clinical installation support can be purchased separately as needed. ------Steep Needle Profiling Technology (SNP) Proprietary software that enhances the system's ability to aid needle visualization. Ultrasound waves are periodically directed towards the needle to enhance visualization, without compromising image quality of the 2D image. ------DICOM (Print, Store, Worklist, MPPS, Storage Commit The DICOM package includes the capability to interface with your PACS network with the complete offering of DICOM capabilities: print, store, worklist, storage commit, and modality perform procedure step. ------HFL38xi / 13-6 MHz transducer Biopsy Compatible HFL38xi / 13-6 MHz multi-frequency, broadband, 38 mm linear array transducer. This transducer is biopsy compatible. Note: Please refer to the most recent version of the corresponding system specification sheet or transducer specification sheet for available exams supported by each system. ------rC60xi / 5-2 MHz transducer Biopsy Compatible rC60xi / 5-2 MHz multi-frequency, broadband, 60 mm curved array transducer featuring DirectCleartechnology, (patent-pending transducer design that increases resolution and penetration without compromising. Note: Please refer to the most recent version of the corresponding system specification sheet or transducer specification sheet for available exams supported by each system. ------To further accelerate end-to-end workflow, the Ultrasound will come with a new stand, offering additional capabilities, all while minimizing footprint. The stand features: - Larger storage basket for items like medication, syringes, gloves etc. - Elevated transducer holder to prevent transducer cables from hitting the ground - Lockable drawer with a tray located on the back of system, to allow the clinician to bring the image as close to the patient as possible - AC Cord retainer to prevent accidental removal of AC cord - Dedicated gel bottle holder - New casters for increased portability - Auxiliary cord management solution ------Powerpark System docking station for the Universal stand. This stand module and docking station allows the ultrasound systems to charge without plugging in the power cord.
