Page 1 of 2 Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) VA Law Enforcement Training Center (VA-LETC) Modular Classrooms for Students REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY (as defined in FAR 15.201(e)), this is not a solicitation. Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received, provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted, or respond to any questions or comments that may be submitted in response to this RFI. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government and does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. (FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY) - Immediate responses are requested! This is a request for information (RFI)/Sources Sought (SS) and not a Solicitation. The purpose of this RFI /SS is to conduct market research to determine responsible sources in order to establish an appropriate acquisition strategy. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in Small Businesses, particularly Veteran Owned Small Business and Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business. The applicable NAICS Code is 321992 Buildings, prefabricated, wood, manufacturing. Government s Objectives The Department of Veterans Affairs  (VA) Law Enforcement Training Center (LETC) is a franchise fund site authorized pursuant to the Government Management Reform Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-356). The Act authorizes designated agencies to provide certain common administrative support services on a reimbursable basis both internally and to other government agencies. In 2006, permanent status was conferred upon the VA Franchise Fund under the Military Quality of Life and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act 2006, Public Law 109-114. Consequently, the VA LETC receives no federally appropriated funding and is required to market VA LETC services to customers. The VA LETC provides training for federal police officers working in health care or service-oriented environments. The VA LETC has identified a need for a modular classroom complex. The contractor/vendor shall provide turn-key services for the engineering design, construction, delivery, and set-up of two (2) modular office buildings for use by the Law Enforcement Training Center (LETC) located on the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System campus at 2200 Ft Roots Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72114. The Contractor shall provide the services as stated in the Performance Work Statement, the Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Please see attached a draft of the Performance Work Statement for more details. Instructions: All respondents are requested to identify their firm's size, type of business and their General Service Administration (GSA) Schedule and Contract Number (If GSA Schedule Applicable). Interested firms responding to this RFI must provide: A statement confirming experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government's requirements for Modular Classrooms. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 3 pages, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of firms to provide the requirements above; Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Pricing for budgetary purposes, for delivery and provision of the two Modular Classrooms identify in the draft Performance Work Statement for the Base and Option Periods.
