- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation 36C24819Q1066 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to perform preventive maintenance and repair of the Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) system at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan, Puerto Rico. This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. All clauses and provisions incorporated in the solicitation are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC 2019-02 / 06-05-2019. This requirement is 100 % set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB s); the associated NAICS code is 238210 and the small business size standard is $15 Million. Type of contract will be a firm-fixed price. Detailed specifications and requirements are provided in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and related documents.
