- Description
- Under Statutory Authority U.S.C. 253(c)(1) the Government anticipates entering into a sole source procurement negotiations with VLogic Systems, Inc, formerly Indus Systems, to provide annual maintenance and licensing support of the existing iDrawings ® application software implemented at VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS). This system supports the generation of accurate reports on resource usage, rapid response to maintenance problems, re-configuration requirements, space planning, energy planning, and security planning. Currently, Indus Systems runs the iDrawings ® application software on Indus servers and VASNHCS users access the software through the Internet. Indus Systems grants the license to users to access the system. This task will also involve updating and maintaining all applicable drawings and space databases. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. This announcement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Other persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement by July 10, 2019, 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before July 10, 2019, 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Service providers must have the ability to maintain, service and license the above listed items. Service providers must demonstrate they have provided these services for iDrawings for a minimum of 5 years. Due to the criticality of these systems, service providers must have a field service representative who has received maintenance training specific to the models listed above and provide a 48-hour response time. Interested service providers must provide evidence of appropriate training/certifications for field service representatives providing services for the equipment listed above. Failure to provide this information will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered a viable source. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (05-JUL-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
