- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HubZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned small Business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUBZone business and If respondent is VOSB or SDVOSB, respondent is to provide proof of www.vetbiz.gov certification. In addition, SDVOSB/VOSB Contractors are asked to acknowledge that they understand the limitations on sub-contracting pursuant to FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Sub-Contracting, which will be included in the impending solicitation. Furthermore SDVOSB/VOSB contractors are asked to respond that they are capable of providing the requested services keeping within the parameters of this clause. If an Offeror proposes to use any subcontractors, joint ventures, or teaming arrangements the Offeror shall include the percentage and type of work the subcontractor will accomplish to include their certifications. (Any subcontractors, joint ventures, or teaming partners shall have the required certifications as described in the sources sought notice) and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. The Network Contract Office (NCO) 22 Gilbert is seeking a potential qualified contractor for the Phoenix, Arizona VA Health Care System (Phoenix VAHCS) located at 650 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, Az 85012 to perform: Bi-Annual Equipment refurbishment and maintenance. The contractor will also provide onsite equipment cleaning technicians available 365 days a year to clean, disinfect, work with staff to gather and redistribute equipment as required. Examples of Equipment To be Cleaned: PATIENT SUPPORT AREAS (LABS, PHARMACY) - Utility carts, Pharmacy bins, Phlebotomy carts, Step stools PATIENT TRANSPORT - Wheelchairs, Stretchers PRE/POST-RECOVERY - IV poles, Stretchers, Over-the-bed tables, Oxygen tank holders, Wheelchairs RADIOLOGY- Over-the-bed tables, Step stools, Stretchers, X-ray jacket stands PATIENT UNIT - Chart racks, Crash carts, Commodes, WOWs, IV poles, Linen hampers, Med carts, Monitor stands (DINAMAP, blood pressure, vital), Over-the-bed tables, Oxygen tank holders, Patient lift, Recliners, Scales, Shower chairs, Step stools, Traction bars, Utility carts, Walkers, wheelchairs, stretchers, bladder scanners, PROCEDURE AREAS - Anesthesia machines (base), Bair Hugger, Bio-hazard container stands, Blood suction stand, Cabinets, Case carts, CASTrGARD, Chairs, Instrument carts, IV poles, Kick buckets, Linen hampers, Mayo stands, Prep tables, Procedure tables (OR, spine), Ring basins, Sinks, Step stools, Stools, Stretchers, Surgical helmet stands Equipment locations Main Hospital Building 1 First Floor Emergency Department Zone 1, 2, 3, 4 and sweep First Floor Community Living Center Second Floor Escort area wheelchairs, Radiology (procedure, Holding, X-ray rooms), Cardiology, Dermatology, Ward 2C and storage Third Floor Operating Rooms and storage, Pre/Post Op, Operating room sweep, Ward 3B and storage and ICU Forth floor Ward 4C&D, Minor Procedure Sixth Floor GI procedure rooms, GI ERCP and Recovery room, Bronch Room and Pulmonary room Important information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought Synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. However, if response by Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms proves inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined. No sub-contracting opportunity is anticipated. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 622110 (35.5 million). Notice to potential offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. All interested Offerors should submit information by e-mail to April Graves@va.gov All information submissions shall be received no later than 3:00 pm (MST-Arizona) on July 16, 2019. After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government intends to proceed with the acquisition and a subsequent solicitation may be published.
