Description

As detailed in the attached sole source justification (Attachment 1), DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania (DDSP) has a requirement for crane wheels to replace the existing wheels. The cranes currently use wheels developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Intelligrated Systems LLC. Intelligrated Systems is the only company that can provide the wheels with the exact specifications to ensure proper fit and function. This company possesses extensive knowledge and the proprietary specifications to produce the exact wheels. The customer noted that other brand wheels used on the cranes have failed to the point of creating safety issues. Using OEM crane wheels insures safe working conditions for employees and maintenance of warranty requirements. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) the acquisition is being restricted to only one source: Intelligrated Systems, LLC located at 7901 Innovation Way Mason, Ohio 45040. The OEM, Intelligrated Systems is the only source capable of producing the crane wheels with the exact specifications to ensure proper fit and function. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333923 with a size standard of 1,250 employees.
