Description

The Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) is pleased to announce its 2019 Small Business Industry Day (SBID) at the Washington Navy Yard, Building 197, August 13, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Check in at NAVSEA begins at 7 a.m. BACKGROUND: NAVSEA is the largest of the Navy's five system commands. With a fiscal year budget of nearly $30 billion, NAVSEA accounts for one quarter of the Navy's entire budget. The NAVSEA SBID will provide a targeted forum for interested small businesses to hear from senior Navy leadership and Program Executive Offices (PEO's) about various NAVSEA programs, facilitating an enhanced understanding of NAVSEA's programs and strategic direction and providing for prime and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses. In addition, SBID will provide a venue for large businesses to communicate about subcontracting opportunities in a panel format.
