THE FAA WILL BE HOLDING AN OPEN HOUSE AT THE CIVIL AVIATION REGISTRY JULY 23rd, 24th, AND 25th, 2019 AT MIKE MONRONEY AERONAUTICAL CENTER. This will consist of a tour of the Registry in its current state. The purpose of the open house is for industry to obtain some context of the Registry in its current state and how it contrasts to end goal of Civil Aviation Registry Electronic Services (CARES). Any questions asked during the tour will be answered on FAACO shortly following the last tour. There will be a maximum of 2 people per contractor allowed to receive a tour of the Registry. The tour will be a maximum of 2 hours. The FAA will not pay for any costs incurred to attend the Registry tour. Therefore, any cost associated with this announcement is solely at the interested vendor s expense. Please request a time for a tour with the Contracting Officer, Stacey Stanley, Stacey,stanley@faa.gov, by July 12, 2019. Attendees should enter the Aeronautical Center's main west entrance on South Regina Avenue and proceed to the Security Command Center which is prior to the gate, located at the visitor center. A bus will transport you from this location to the Registry Building for the tour. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to process through security. Below are the tour times available. The agency s objectives for this initiative will be achieved by the end of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021. Market survey 32128 identified qualified and capable sources that could provide a sound solution to the modernization effort described in the documents attached to that market survey. The second market survey further defines the requirement and strategy moving forward under announcement 33782.
