Description
STATEMENT OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS Background: The Central Arkansas VA Health System (CAVHS) is currently using Olympus towers that hold cameras, light sources, and printers that interface with the instrumentation. These telescope lenses would be an addition to the current program set in place at CAVHS for routine cystoscopies, cystoscopies with biopsies, and other associated procedures in the clinic. In the OR, the Olympus WA2T412A is used to view the bladder during surgery. The telescope fits inside Olympus brand stainless steel instruments and is kept in place by its compatible design. This equipment is needed to prevent delays in patient care. The items must be compatible with the current Olympus System. Details: Olympus is the only manufacturer of the needed item. The scopes/equipment needed has to be brand specific to mirror the existing scopes because they are part of a complete working unit/system. Purchasing the same brand and model will prevent potential errors, reduce learning curve and is cost saving to the facility due to being interchangeable, highly specialized surgical instrumentation. This will reduce duplication of cost to the government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency s requirements. The requested items must meet brand and item # requirements for compatibility and standardization. Item # Description Quantity Unit Issue WA2T412A Olympus Telescope "OES Elite", 4 mm, 12 deg, HD, 7 Each Delivery Location: Central Arkansas Veterans Health System (CAVHS) Building 182 Warehouse Receiving 2200 Ft Roots Drive North Little Rock, AR 72114 The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required because this acquisition does not require services that involve connection of one or more contractor-owned IT devices (such as a laptop computer or remote connection from a contractor system) to a VA internal trusted (i.e., non-public) network. Brand Name or Equal A telescope is a rigid endoscope. An image relay system of rod lenses transmits the endoscopic image. A bundle of optical fibers transmits light from an external light source to illuminate the endoscopic image. The degree of the telescope indicates the direction of the view. CAVHS currently uses Olympus towers that hold cameras, light sources, and printers that interface with the instrumentation. These telescope lenses would be an addition to the current program set in place at CAVHS. 10.0 Technical data 10.1 General dimensions 10.1.1 Telescope Working length WA2T400A...................................................................... 280.2 mm WA2T412A...................................................................... 280.0 mm WA2T430A...................................................................... 282.2 mm WA2T470A...................................................................... 284.0 mm WA2T43WA..................................................................... 283.3 mm Maximum insertion portion width WA2T400A, WA2T412A, WA2T430A, WA2T470A, WA2T43WA....................................................................... 4.05 mm 10.1.2 Protective tube WA2P400A L1: Length..........................................................................305 mm D1: Inner diameter 1........................................................... 5.0 mm D2: Inner diameter 2......................................................... 10.0 mm 10.3 Specifications Direction of view WA2T400A..................................................................................0 ° WA2T412A................................................................................12 ° WA2T430A................................................................................30 ° WA2T470A................................................................................70 ° WA2T43WA...............................................................................30 °D3: Inner diameter 3......................................................... 17.3 mm 10.4 Ambient conditions Operating conditions Ambient temperature.............................10 to 40 °C (50 to 104 °F) Relative humidity.............................................................30 to 85% Atmospheric pressure...........................................700 to 1060 hPa Storage conditions Temperature..........................................10 to 40 °C (50 to 104 °F) Relative humidity.............................................................30 to 85% Transport conditions Temperature..................................... 40 to 70 °C ( 40 to 158 °F) Relative humidity.............................................................10 to 95% Compatible equipment: WA2P400A Protective tube WA05990A Instrument tray WA2T400A WA2T412A Telescope lens 12degree WA2T430A WA2T470A WA2T43WA NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-JUL-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
