Description
The Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Ave Syracuse, NY 13210, intends to release an invitation for bid (IFB) numbered 36C242-19-B-0046 Project No. 528A7-18-712 Repair multiple failing fire doors on or about 25 July 2019 The Contractor shall perform replace failing doors. 41 stairwell and one mechanical room doors with a hollow metal (1.5 hr.) fire rated doors. The replacement Hollow metal fire rated doors shall include the hardware sets (Lock sets, Hinges, Closers, etc.). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 Million. THIS IS SET ASIDE 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. The offeror must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and listed as a CERTIFIED VETERAN ENTERPRISE and be VERIFIED in the VetBiz database under the applicable NAICS at time of offer and time of award. Firms may obtain VetBiz information at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is: Between $100,000 and $250,000 The firms are required to self-perform 25% of the work and will be required to show in detail the breakdown to be submitted with the bid. Firms will also be required to supply the EMR rating at time of bid. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. A 20% Bid Bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified, the full IFB will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov).
