Description

The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground MD intends to award a sole source contract to Noraxon pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Market research have concluded Noraxon is the only vendor capable of fulfilling the Government need. Research determined other vendors optical systems will suffer from a lower resolution in the measurement. Kinect markerless motion capture will also have technical challenges due to resolution issues and not customizable. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than July 12th, 2019, 08:00am, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Kashif Reese at Kashif.i.reese.civ@mail.mil. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
