- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Albany Stratton VA Medical Center intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. MRS Systems, Inc. 19000 33rd Ave. W Ste 130 Lynnwood, Washington 98036 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract to acquire MRS Software. Sole source is based on only one responsible source as MRS Systems is the manufacturer and sole distributor of MRS Software. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 511210 software publishers and the size standards are 38.5 million dollars. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. All capability statements must be received by no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on July 24, 2019. Responses to be submitted to Laura Egli, Contract Specialist at laura.egli@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
