The period of performance for contract award will be from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. This requirement is for the VA Vehicle Fleet Management Program. Vehicle Fleet Management Information System for the 5500-model series currently installed and active in the fleet vehicles. The Vehicle Fleet Management Information System will provide a fully-integrated solution for managing motor pool reservations, mileage/trip reporting, driver qualifications, fuel use capture and integration, utilization, unscheduled and preventative maintenance, inspections, global positioning system (GPS) integration, vehicle inventory, and asset costs. OAEM will select and designate a single, centralized official VA database system for collection, storage and analysis of VA motor vehicle data. It will be mandatory for VA organizations to enter certain required data into this system. Administrations may use a different system internally; however, required information must be exported or entered into the official VA system. OAEM will notify VA organization Fleet Managers when the official VA system is in place. Monthly service includes diagnostic alerts, and roadside assistance for each vehicle. Location of GPS units are in all government vehicles that are assigned to the VISN 2 VAMC Fleet. Services are to be performed for government vehicles to be held at the following sites: Albany VAMC Syracuse VAMC 113 Holland Ave 800 Irving Ave Albany, NY 12208 Syracuse, NY Canandaigua VAMC Bath VAMC 400 Fort Hill Ave 76 Veterans Ave Canandaigua, NY 14424 Bath, NY 14810 Buffalo/Batavia VAMC 3495 Bailey Ave Buffalo, NY 14215 Verizon Connect NWF Inc. (Verizon Network Fleet) is the only known provider since the equipment is proprietary and maintenance therefore only be provided by Verizon Connect NWF Inc. (Verizon Network Fleet). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. (EST).
