Description
Amendment #0001 to solicitation #697DCK-19-R-00448 is issued to incorporate FAA's response to written questions received in timely manner. See attached for response to questions. All other requirements and information including offer due date (7/17/2019) remains unchanged. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have a new requirement for demolition, removal and restoration to be accomplished at East Providence, RI in accordance with attached Scope of Work (SOW). See attached solicitation document with supporting documents for requirement details and instructions. This requirement is offered to all qualified and responsive offerors. Offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. First Tier: 8(a) Socially, Economically, and Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) and/or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB); Second Tier: Small Businesses; and Third Tier: Full and Open-Market to include Large Businesses. A description of the source selection method, evaluation factors for award and submittal requirements can be found in Section "L" and "M" of the solicitation document. Participants are encouraged to read these sections completely and submit all required documents/information with proposal. Failure to do so can result in proposal/offer submission being deemed nonresponsive. To be considered for award of this requirement, offer must have a current/valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov. Site Visit: Although not mandatory, the FAA urges and experts offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Coordinate site visit within the first five (5) calendar days after posting of this announcement. Site visit should be conducted at least ten (10) calendar days prior to proposal/offers due date.
