Description

The general scope of the electrical work is to replace the existing Fire Alarm and Mass Notification systems in the areas listed in the SOW due to incompatability with the rest of the existing fire alarm system installed in other buildings, age of equipment and malfunction. The existing systems are to remain operational until such a time that the new Fire Alarm and Mass Notfication systems have been properly installed, tested, and commissioned before the existing systems are to be demolished. This requirement has 2 Brand Name Justifications. the incorporation of Automated Logic Corporation Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems to the HVAC systems for the subject project is required. The incorporation of a Simplex Whole Building Fire Detection and Notification System is also required.
