Description
FY19 NATR VEHICLE STRIP AND INSTALL The contractor must be certified to install the warning light and control systems as well as the video recording equipment used by the Natchez Trace Parkway. The contractor must also install vehicle striping packages and vehicle tint. When an old vehicle is being swapped, the contractor must remove existing equipment and transfer it to a new vehicle. The contractor must also prepare the old vehicle for return to GSA by reinstalling back seats and seatbelts, removing vehicle markings, and sealing exterior holes. Equipment Used. The contractor must be able to install the WatchGuard 4RE in-car video system and the Sound Off Signal BluePrint system. Additionally, the contractor must be familiar with, and able to install, remove, and/or provide other equipment used by the Parkway including: Jotto Desk consoles; Westin push bumpers and wraps; Setina push bumpers, wraps, and prisoner transport systems; and Prisoner Transport Systems prisoner containment systems. Credentials Required. The contractor should be an ASE certified mechanic with a certification from the Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification Commission being the most desired. The contractor must be certified by the respective manufacturer in the installation of the WatchGuard 4RE in-car video system and the Sound Off Signal BluePrint system. Proximity. The contractor must have an installation shop located within reasonable proximity to the Parkway in order to avoid excessive travel times and the necessity of completing travel documentation for vehicle service. Therefore, the contractor must have an installation shop within 25 miles to a Parkway entrance or exit. Please see performance work statement for more details and requirements.
