- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids, a solicitation, or an indication that the PMA-251 Program Office or NAVAIR will contract for the items contained in this RFI. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) is seeking qualified manufacturers for the Improved Low Loss Launch Valve Plugs. It is anticipated that this requirement will be Sole Source. The ILLLV controls the flow of steam that provides the force required to perform a launch. The ILLLV consists of two plugs, one left hand and one right hand, that drop and rotate inside of the valve during a launch sequence of the US Navy Steam catapult system.
