- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced commercial item contract to ALADDIN TEMP-RITE LLC., 5 250 E MAIN STREET, HENDERSONVILLE, TN 37075 to modify and re-install the Aladdin Retherm Docking Station to support the use of the AGV system. This is the TUG robotic transport system for the Memphis VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104. The requirement will be sole sourced to ALADDIN TEMP-RITE LLC because this vendor is the manufacturer and sole provider of this existing equipment used at the VA. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (1), "soliciting from a single source." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333318 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit capabilities statements no later than 1:00 p.m. CST, August 11, 2019 to: scott.dickey@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
