- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit and award a contract for Engineering, Technical, Design Agent, Design/Configuration Change Program, and R&D support for a broad array of new construction (conversion) operational submarines (e.g., OHIO Class (SSBNs), OHIO Class SSGNs, SEAWOLF, VIRGINIA, and LOS ANGELES CLASS SSNs; UK TRIDENT SSBNs; and FMS Submarines), special mission submersibles, and submarine support facilities. Solicitation N00024-18-R-2125 will be issued to Electric Boat Corporation, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340 on a sole source basis. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat Corporation directly. This notice is for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. Disclaimer: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
