Description: This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code 237990. The solicitation number, W912P8-19-B-0060, is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting in contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP). The solicitation will be issued on or about 02 August 2019. The anticipated bid opening date is set for 04 September 2019, however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. The work consists of rehabilitation of selected upland confined disposal area 7 along the Calcasieu Ship Channel which entails: excavation of the disposal area to the required grade and placement of material for the construction of earthen retention dikes to the required DMMP standards; all as shown on the drawings. The work also includes: installation of settlement plates, surveying, and all operations incidental thereto. Option Work is included for upland confined disposal area 2 which entails: borrow area excavation, placing of borrow material for construction of retention dikes, and surveying.
