Description
Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 by way of the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Valiant Construction, LLC. This procurement will result in a new contract award action to Valiant Construction, LLC. The intent of this requirement is to procure specialized construction services that will result in the implementation and support of Project #603-17-611, Clinical Laboratory Equipment. The purpose of this notice is to identify any qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns with verifiable experience in the construction of High Technical High Cost (HTHC) medical equipment such as Gamma Cameras, HFO MRI s, PET/CT, Catherization Labs, Nuclear Medicine Equipment and Labs, X-rays, Anesthesia Supply booms. Seeking specialized construction experience with medical equipment demonstrating successful completion of five (5) or more hospital projects within the past 10 years that specifically demonstrate the contractor s knowledge and experience with the removal and re-installation, as well as commissioning of clinical laboratory equipment, site preparation. Qualified firms can submit statement of capability electronically in PDF format to roxie.keese@va.gov. Statements of Capability must demonstrate and provide relevant information identified in this RFI. In addition, submissions should include the references of the CO and/or COR, or the Primary Point of Contact for each project listed. The project start and end date, the contract value of the listed project should all be provided in order for the Contracting Officer to make an objective determination of an offeror s capability. No telephone calls will be accepted. Responses must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than close of business (COB) July 26, 2019. This is not a support for competitive proposals. The proposed contract action is for construction services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, as Authorized by Statue. A Justification and Approval for sole source will be posted and made available no later than 14 days after award.
