Description
Brief Description: Multiple sources are sought to provide chemical and hazardous waste collection, transportation and disposal services within various geographic regions of the United States. These services would support DEA field offices and laboratories. Response Date: Request by Augusted 5, 2019, but Required by August 22, 2019 Contract Specialist: James Helm, E-Mail: james.helm@usdoj.gov Primary NAICS Code: 562112 (Hazardous Waste Collection). Place of Performance: The location of the pickup will be defined on task orders, but will be within one of seventeen geographic regions in the U.S. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. This sources sought announcement/market survey is to determine if responsive and responsible small businesses are available to meet this requirement in one or more geographic regions. However, a solicitation for this requirement is planned to be published before the end of the fiscal year. The purpose of this "Sources Sought/Market Survey" is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and to develop additional knowledge of the existing market for the required services. Feedback on individual submissions will not be provided. Capability Packages: Certified Small Business firms are encouraged to submit capability packages. Business having the ability to provide the services listed in the attached Draft Statement of Work shall provide clear and comprehensive information supporting their experience, expertise, and current company profile to include the number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number CAGE code, small business designation/status claimed and annual revenue. The capability packages not expected to be proposals, but rather statements with background information supporting the company's existing experience in relation to the area specified in the SOW. Capability Packages should clearly address the following: A technical understanding of the working requirements of the Statement of Work. The contractor employees must have appropriate security clearance headquarters level. Contractor personnel shall also have general knowledge and understanding of Key Personnel: Do the key staff members have the analytical, functional and technical knowledge/experience directly related to tasks outlined in the SOW; have sufficient resources on hand and available to begin work on the effort; and do these individuals have the required security clearance? Past Performance: Does the firms submittal indicate relevant and recent past performance experience performing the work described in the SOW?
