- Renewal of ZyImage Software Maintenance Agreement 68HE0C18P0049 POP October 1, 2019 thru September 30, 2020. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Research Triangle Park (RTP) in Durham, North Carolina intends to negotiate on a sole source basis to ZYLAB North America LLC. in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), "soliciting from a single source" to purchase Teledyne T100U, T300U and T265 analyzers. This procurement is recommended to be processed without full and open competition. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. This notice of intent is for information purposes only; therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. This requirement is for Zylab ZyImage Software license renewal. The requirement includes the ZyImage annual license renewal, technical support and maintenance packages that are currently installed on the Agency ¿s Windows Server and PC workstation in EPA IRMD Cincinnati and EPA OEI/OTOP/NTSD national computer center site at RTP, NC. The Zylab software is the platform that IRMD uses to manage and serve electronic versions of over 84,000 EPA scientific and technical publications. This electronic collection is known to the Internet community as the EPA National Environmental Publications Internet Site (NEPIS). The Product Line Items [ZY-SLA] Subject to Renewal include the following: ZY-Mod-XW XML Wrapper Module [12-months] OCR-PRIN ZyImage Global Professional OCR Engine per CPU [12 months] ZY-MOD-SEI ZyIMAGE Internet Search Engine Integration Module [12-months] COM-S-1 Commercial Publishing Bundle [12-months] ZY-Alert ZyAlert Server License for in-house use [12-months] OCR-GSTD Image Global Standard OCR Engine per CPU [12-months] DVD-S-1 information Management Platform Development Bundle [12-months] ZY-MOD-DF Database Fields Module [12-Months] All capability statements received within 5 days after publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined and itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
