- Description
- NAMRU6 Bacteriology Department has a critical need to purchase laboratory supplies that have been already validated to identify pathogenic isolates under GEIS funded study NAMRU6.2017.0012 "Surveillance and Characterization of the Molecular Resistance Factors of Bacterial Pathogens in USSOUTHCOM AOR". In order to achieve the protocol's goal of identifying bacterial pathogens we need to conduct specific tests that require BD Phoenix equipment that works with Phoenix panels. The requested purchase of panels will allow the Bacteriology Department to perform several tests for Antimicrobial Susceptibility in bacterial isolates obtained under the ongoing research studies.
