Description
Purpose of Amendment 0002 is to extend Vendor questions TO.: August 1st NOON ET: RFQ extended TO: 8/08/2019 5:00 pm EST. The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Contraction project: Demolish Existing Restroom Facility and Replace with a Waterless Restroom Facility Sweet Smelling Toilet system (SST). The National Park Service (NPS) will be contracting work to demolish and dispose of a restroom facility, which includes the utilities and septic system. The facility is located on Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, which is administered by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. This action will be followed by providing and installing a new prefab SST in the same approximate location. This facility shares a parking lot with the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, located about 4 miles south of Oregon Inlet on the west side of NC Highway 12. The building is approx. 16 ft x 25 ft wooden building with wooden framing members. The building rests on a concrete slab. The slab measures approximately the same size as the building. A 3 ft wide concrete sidewalk surrounds the building. The with A frame roof The women ¿s has 2 toilets men ¿s has 1 toilet and 1 urinal. 3 exterior lights. Janitor ¿s closet has a floor sink and hose bib for water connection. An existing well which is out of service provides water to the building. The filtration system for the well is in the janitor ¿s closet. A concrete sidewalk surrounds the building. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price This acquisition consist of (1) Base Line Item: Demolition and construction of a Waterless Restroom Facility. Site Visit highly recommended: July 16th at 10:00 am This proposed acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set Aside for Small Business Concerns, The Classification Code for this procurement is North American Industry System Code (NAICS) 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Size Standards in millions of dollars $36.5 : 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors $15.0 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors $15.0. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Period of Performance. 09/15/2019 ¿04/01/2020 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system.
