Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center at Fort Bragg (MICC-Fort Bragg) intends to procure on, an other than full and open competition basis, four (4) RA-1.5K ULW kits (I360) and associated sub-components that are required to keep the RA-1.5K ULW JPADS system operational. The parachute and components of the RA-1.5K ULW (I360) were made by Airborne Systems North America of NJ, Inc. 5800 Magnolia Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08109, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code: 57172, is currently one of two parachute systems tested and authorized to be used with the MAGU for.5K ULW JPADS based on Marine Corps TM 11718B-14&P/1, adopted and approved by USASOC. The Government intends to award this requirement under the authority of Title 10, United States Code, Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the developer of RA-1.5K ULW (I360), only Airborne Systems North America of NJ, Inc. possesses the technical expertise, proprietary data, and experience necessary to execute this requirement. The Government intends to solicit to, and negotiate with, only one source. Anyone that may be interested in subcontracting opportunities is encouraged to contact Airborne Systems North America of NJ, Inc. at the address stated above. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued to any contractor other than Airborne Systems North America of NJ, Inc.
