- Description
- The Government is requesting an offer to lease approximately 5 acres of aircraft parking space [or space that can be adapted to parking use], runway space capable of accommodating a C5, approximately 6,000 SF of office space, and approximately 12,000 SF of hangar space in the El Paso, Texas area, specifically near or at El Paso International Airport. The ideal space would fit the following: building specifications in compliance with all federal, state, and local ordinances; force protection standards in compliance with Department of Defense's Unified Facility Criteria; outfitted with either designated or open parking. The facility must be capable of being secured, inaccessible by the public. Approximately 15 phone lines in the office space is preferred. A one-year firm term lease with up to a six-month renewal option is intended. 30-day termination rights for the Government subsequent to the end of the initial year will be included. The desired occupancy date is 31 December 2019. The tenant shall have the right to use the space beyond normal working hours, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays. The lease shall be subject to the availability of annually appropriated funds. Note that this is a request for information only, not a solicitation for offers. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain, unless determined to be the only practicable alternative.
