- Description
- Proposed Vendor: Agilent Technologies Synopsis: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES: This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source purchase order under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106- 1(b). The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Headquarters Acquisition Division (HQAD) Washington, D.C. intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Agilent Technologies, on behalf of The Office of Research and Development (ORD). The CrossLab Silver equipment maintenance agreement, Agilent Technologies, is the only qualified entity to provide service and support for this maintenance. This will be an one- year base, plus 2 option years maintenance agreement. The equipment maintenance agreement (EMA) for the Agilent Seahorse XFe96 Analyzer is needed to ensure proper performance and reliability for this equipment. This equipment is vital in collecting valuable data for many aspects of ORD ¿s mission of gaining knowledge about chemicals and their effects. The equipment maintenance agreement (EMA) for the Agilent Seahorse XFe96 Analyzer will allow researchers to continue important work without the concern of equipment failure during critical experimental timeframes. This EMA acts as a safeguard for research activities in the event there is an equipment failure and ensure personnel can contact the necessary technical support for immediate corrective action(s) to deliver agency requirements. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA ¿s requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, by July 29, 2019 at 12pm. Responses to this posting must be in writing and provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. Please send your response to: FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net referencing RFQ 68HERH19Q0110 and via email irby.kenneth@epa.gov. NO CALLS PLEASE!!! A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. No FITARA or IT codes necessary.
