Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Various Maintenance Tasks at the Alaska VA Medical Center (Anchorage) Muldoon Clinic TILE CLEANING Clean and restore canteen area floor and wall tile to make solid clean surfaces. The floor area is approximately 1700 SF and approximately 50 tiles will need to be replaced. The wall area is approximately 620 SF and at least 20 tiles will need to be replaced, excluding the tile replacement associated with the kitchen exhaust hood. Shine all tile flooring. Repair damaged tiles where required. Contractor to provide all cleaning materials and labor required. All cleaning processes used shall meet high standards of safety and effectiveness and be approved by VA Health and Safety prior to use. Figure 1 FLOOR TILE FOR REPAIR Figure 3 FLOOR TILE FOR CLEANING Figure 2 FLOOR TILE FOR REPAIR Figure 4 FLOOR AND WALL TILE FOR CLEANING EXHAUST HOOD Remove exhaust hood and ancillary equipment. The exhaust hood brand is Gaylord. The exhaust hood dimensions are 84 L x 48 W X 28 H. Provide a safe and sanitary method for removal of the existing exhaust hood. Repair ceiling and wall tile as needed to match existing where required. Contractor to haul and dispose of the existing exhaust hood. Domiciliary REMOVE FAILING INTERIOR FOLIAGE/PLANTS Remove foliage and fill in open two planters. Contractor to remove and dispose of all plants. Fill in planter with appropriate material including geotextile fabric, sand, and pavers, submit Product Data for review. The combined area is approximately 670 SF. SCHEDULE All work should be completed within 90 days. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Laura Davis at laura.davis5@va.gov no later than August 1, 2019, 9 AM PDT. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; DUNS number point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested equipment information including manufacturer, model and delivery schedule; whether services are presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 561790 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Laura Davis via e-mail.
